This is a brief & really important thread https://twitter.com/ryan_hubert/status/1296700296375095298
And I've admitted this before: Pete kinda broke my brain early on and I had an overly extreme reaction to him. I examined these feelings & I regret them. I think, like w/ any politician, there are reasonable criticisms to be made of him. But a lot of what I saw was not that.
Multiple things can be true
1. Pete deserved criticism for his record
2. The media WAS annoying in hyper-focussing on him & ignoring candidates of color like Booker
3. This was also frustrating in the presence of misogyny
4. There was also a ton of homophobia & misplaced rage
