Angers

Farid El Melali – the Algerian winger spent much of last season injured but showed in his rare game time he has bags of talent.
Bordeaux

Yacine Adli – moved to Bordeaux amidst much fanfare in the January window of 2019. Yet to make the impression that saw him linked with Arsenal. A big season awaits.
Brest

Irvin Cardona – the former Monaco attacker has shown much promise and last season scored a precious six goals in 21 games for the Bretons.
Dijon

Aurelien Scheilder – the centre forward impressed in Ligue 2 on loan at Sochaux and will be hoping to make a successful step up to the big league.
Lens

Cheick Doucoure – Enormous in the midfield during Lens’ successful promotion tilt, the 20-year-old is the next Malian hoping to impress in the top flight.
Lille

Isaac Lihadji – LOSC pinched one of Marseille’s most promising youngsters in the form of Lihadji on a free transfer in the summer, and it could prove another inspired piece of business.
Lorient

Stephane Diarra – An ex-Rennes youth Often compared to Hatem Ben Arfa in style, this will be the first season the right winger, who made his senior debut at 16 for Evian, will enjoy in the top flight.
Lyon

Rayan Cherki – one of the most-hyped youngsters in France in years. Rudi Garcia is likely to use him sparingly, but expect the attacker to be thrilling when he’s introduced.
Marseille

Pape Gueye – OM completed a controversial transfer to take the midfielder from Le Havre. He looks a formidable player already – and he is only 21.
Metz

Ibrahima Niane – If Metz lose Habib Diallo in the transfer window, they will lead heavily on the 21-year-old, who is in the long line of promising players to arrive from Generation Foot.
Monaco

Pietro Pellegri – Along with Willem Geubbels, much remains expected of the young Italian, but injuries have ravaged his stay in Monaco thus far. Simply has to get fit.
Montpellier

Nicolas Cozza – Before being struck down by injury last season, the centre-back was quietly establishing himself in the squad. MHSC have an aging defence and his legs could be vital.
