The idea that there should be different laws for Hindu Sampradayas is so dangerous that one forgets how dumb it is.

In same family there are people who have different Ishta Devata even if they share Kula Devata. Anyway what does this have to do with divorce marriage inheritance?
The idea that Hindus need to be reminded of diversity is laughable. We are discussing family laws, not rituals Gods traditions.

In the same family one uncle is a strict Shiva bhakt and another uncle goes to spend his post retirement years in Vrindavan thinking of Krishna bhagwan
Now as I have said I am not excited about the marrying age of women being increased to 21. It’s OK if it happens but if they reduce it for men to 18 I am ok with that too: then ages are equal and that’s also voting age.

But to use that as an excuse does not even work in any way.
If your entire argument is you cannot trust the Indian state first of all how will you get them to end One Hindu Family Law and make different laws for Sampradayas/Jaatis?

And if you can’t (thanks Gods!) you are just delaying extending that to all religions

It helps Hindus how?
