Bulls draft thoughts running through my head:
I would take Killian Hayes at No. 4. I think he's best player available and fills the Bulls' biggest need. Unfortunately, the league isn't that high on him. His range seems to be 7-14.
So it comes down to Deni Avdija vs. Obi Toppin.

I've struggled to see Deni's top-five appeal all year. Not a polished outside shooter + only made 58% of his FTs. Is he really a three in the league? I think he's a four.
As a four: he's significantly smaller at worse at shooting than Lauri while not being better defensively.

I can talk myself into Obi a little bit, but he has a ton of flaws. Turns 23 as a rookie. His defense is terrible. Won't be a high volume 3PT shooter if he hits a decent percentage.
I also feel like you need an elite creator to set him up, which the Bulls don't have yet.

How you can justify Deni: existing fit doesn't matter because it's all likely to change under new front office. He has some positional versatility and a 'jack of all trades' skill set. I see him more as a linking piece on a good team years down the road than as a program-changer.
How you can justify Obi: He's potentially a monster on offense. Finished 99th percentile PPP. Elite finisher with shooting range + some passing flashes. His defense is brutal but the idea of taking him off the floor in high-level playoffs games is ... so, so far away for Bulls.
Haliburton and Vassell should also be considered. Hali is theoretically a great fit next to Coby. Vassell fills need for wing shooting + defense. Neither are primary creators and may not return peak value at No. 4.
Swinging for the initiator with Hayes still makes the most sense

Bulls should also see what it takes to trade up for LaMelo Ball. Landing at No. 4 greatly helps their chances in a trade up. The cost of a trade up may not be as high this year given the lack of consensus at the top.
This is why LaMelo is my top prospect https://www.sbnation.com/nba/2020/4/8/21211341/lamelo-ball-nba-draft-mock-scouting-report-highlights-video
