Without taking sides, the OJ/KAM exchange is pretty much a perfect distillation of all the reasons I've increasingly found political Twitter almost unbearable in recent weeks.

FWIW I think they both have a fair point & if they were sitting across a pub table from each other they'd have resolved it within about 30 seconds. As it is, the whole culture of Twitter pretty much forces them to get tooled up & face off, with entire armies behind them.

For the record, I'm now muting everyone who is utterly fucking cloth-eared enough to reply to this to tell me why either one of them is a racist, a danger, a traitor to socialism, a sell-out, a melt or whatever. These Tweets were not about Owen or Kerry. They were about YOU.
