Airfield Radar Flight is the deployable element of Battlespace Management Eng and Logs Wing, responsible for maintaining serviceability and supporting wider Air aims. This support enables production of a Recognised Air Picture, regardless of location.

RNAS Yeovilton recently requested support from Airfield Radar Flight, following an issue with their Watchman Primary Surveillance Radar. The General Engineering Section, based at RAF Leeming, promptly deployed and rectified the fault, restoring the asset to full working order.
