"Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan a game changer"
It's one of the ambitious project announced by our Honourable PM NAMO in the year 2014 with the aim to revamp the cleanliness mission in the entire country. (1/n)

It gave a holistic approach to the cleanliness mission, and saw that it's implementation in the entire Bharat is a success. The whole objective was the active participation of the all the different civic bodies,the government & citizensof all states in micro & macro level.(2/n)

The objectives which were taken into consideration are as.
Quality & improvement of lives in Urban & rural areas.
Main objective was to reduce open defaction, which was a major concern earlier
Waste management of the different types of garbage produced (3/n)

To improve coordination between local municipal bodies & government in waste management.
Cost effectiveness of the different sanitation process.
To create awareness about sanitation at different levels
Social inclusion & it's promotion at different levels (4/n)

These steps were implemented from the ground level to the higher level across all states. Rampant & drastic changes took place after it was executed. The benefits reaped are highlighted below(5/n)

One of the major achievements was more access to toilets which was a far cry in many rural areas till 2014.
Citizens participation & involvement across different state levels have improved.
Efficient coordination Between state civic bodies & state governments(6/n)

Improved sanitation across states have helped in averting many disease like diarrhea, cholera.
Cleanliness has become an essential requirements which needs to be followed strictly. (7/n)

Many unique programs like "Namami Gange"was launched to clean river Ganga as it was polluted at large scale. It showed results after the implementation of the program. (8/n)

A no of cities in different states have taken the mission seriously & have done a wonderful job in maintaining hygiene & cleanliness.
Indore in MP being the prime example of it, which is continuously winning the Cleanest city since last 4 years. (9/n)

The Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan mission has been appreciated all across the world, and the image of Bharat has improved by leaps & bounds. Earlier it was perceived to be a country where hygiene was a major concern. (10/n)

Organizations like UNICEF has appreciated it a lot & presented the fact that a household in an Open defecation free village in rural India saves Rs. 50,000 every year.(11/n)

In a nutshell, Swacch Bharat Abhiyaan has shown it's effectiveness across Bharat to a certain level, but more work still needs to be done in this regard across different states for it to be completely successful. (12/n)
