Why I think Ziyech will be the real deal in FPL next season

Ziyech is a versitale player he can play at Cam or at RW. He is pretty good on set pieces and will hopefully take them for Chelsea. He has a great cross and also has a pretty good shot outside the box.

Let's start with looking at his stats from the Eredivisie

His stats from the 18-19 season

First of all I want to say that the step from the Eredivisie to the Premier League is a big step. A lot of players failed like Klaassen, Janssen and Depay.

I think the situation with Ziyech is different. He is 27 year old and is currently in his prime. He has experience in the Champions League so he knows how to play under pressure.

In his price bracket at 8.0 you don't have a lot of good players. With a lot op managers going with TAA, KDB, Salah that doesn't leave them with much budget so you will have to get at least some mid price midfielders in.

Man Utd and City have now a confirmed blank in GW1. I think this will make Ziyech an even more populair asset as there are no great players in his price bracket.

In his first 12 matches Chelsea play against 3 top six teams. In their first 5 matches though they play against only 1 top six team and against 1 newly promoted team

With Werner also joining Chelsea and Chelsea wanting to improve their defence. I can see Chelsea wanting to attack the top 2. Ziyech will play a massive role in assisting Werner and Pulisic.
