Almost every day I wake up to hear latest calamity to fall on this country’s young.

We get ever more inventive as to the weapons deployed in the decades-long war against the young.
House prices - with no successful policies so far to increase supply or address the £trillions poured into housing by financial sector inflating prices out of sight for most young people.
Ongoing transfer benefits from the young to the richest generation in human history.
Child Benefit tapered off, but Winter Fuel Allowance? Sacrosanct.
Triple lock pension? Untouchable.
Just look at the row over "free" BBC Licence Fee.
Close schools, despite children not being involved in virus transmission and it hardly affecting them.
What is six months off school going to do to the life chances to the most deprived children? How long to recover?
Cancel exams with its inevitable following fiasco.
Destroy the economy for all - affecting young most - despite 89% of Covid deaths being among 65+.
It’s beyond us to to protect vulnerable while allowing society to continue.
Ongoing social distancing for foreseeable destroying economic sectors in which the young mainly work
In London remove free transport for children but don’t touch the sacrosanct Freedom Pass
This war against the young goes down to the smallest thing - such as adults who passed decades ago making the Driving Test ever harder
Unjust and immoral.
Every day, listening to whatever new calamity there is I am amazed at the young's forbearance - indeed data shows how more responsible they are compared to previous generations
