I'm gonna put a stake in the ground, right here, with a prediction 75 days out from the election:

That will likely include a large faction who recognize that, given Biden's... questionable prognosis for sound mental faculties, that who they are ACTUALLY "voting against" with a strategic vote for Trump is... *shudder* President Kamala Harris.

I predict that there will be an awful lot of people who will hold their noses, vote for Trump, and then keep their mouths shut, or will outright lie if asked about who they voted for.

No one else ever needs to know who you actually voted for... it's none of their business, frankly, so given the stridency of the partisan zealotry being bandied about recently, people will be more comfortable simply lying right to the face of any nut job who dares to even ask.
It was none of their business before they asked, and they have no real way to actually check, so... of course people will gladly lie right to the face of whatever deranged basket case of a partisan who happens to get in their face about who they voted for... because, screw you!
Only a blithering idiot is going to provoke a whacked-out TDS zealot in the midst of one of their rants, who is just LOOKING for a "deplorable" that they can turn into the Designated Hate Object du jour.

They might never identify 75% or more of the people who strategically voted for Trump... because they've ALREADY tipped their hand, that they'll be intent on punishing ANYONE in their lives that would actually vote for the Bad Orange Man... so no one'll admit it!

To be a successful strategic voter, you generally need to understand how good strategy actually works... both in theory and practice.
Clearly, this particular collection of folks doesn't, or they wouldn't be in the position they'll very likely find themselves in, on November 4.

And it will be trivially easy for the strategic Trump voters to hide forever in plain sight with a clear conscience... and they'll know that in advance, before they even vote.

There is ZERO DOWNSIDE for the strategic Trump voter to enact the choices their conscience dictates they should... heck, you might see some who adopt real or feigned outrage at anything Trump does or says, and blend right in with the "oNe Of US! ONE! OF! US!" walking dead fools.
