I cannot convey how urgent it is that @CDCgov put out very clear public health messages encouraging people with #COVID19 TO REST. #MedTwitter we need your help. I am in conversation with #LongHaulers who are concerned that overrexertion is leading to permanent disability.
We have utterly failed to prevent the spread of #COVID19 but we can still prevent hundreds of thousands (to millions, frankly) of Americans from becoming permanently disabled by it. We have a very small window in which to act.
