Hi I know that not everyone has family in education but YES IT IS A BIG DEAL THAT ALL THE KIDS ARE GOING TO BE FALLING BEHIND THIS SCHOOL YEAR.

Even kids from middle class or upper class homes are going to be struggling this. The kids from poorer homes without reliable internet are going to have it worse.

Parents of multiple kids are going to be trying to monitor 2, 3, 4 different sets of online classes at once. That's *if* they've found a way to stay home. Many will also be trying to work from home.
Way more kids than average are going to be needing special education support, because there is just no way you're going to meet the state standards at the same level if the whole year is done online.
There is a disaster coming in public education in this country. And everyone without kids seems to be blowing the idea of it off.
