I’m sick for Meg and ALL Black women who have been in this position where they’ve been abused and harmed yet still felt they had to protect said abuser so they wouldn’t be killed. My god. I just. I have nothing but tears cause so many Black women have done this
That’s why I want a better world for Black women where we don’t feel we have to protect those who exact violence on us. A world where we are actually protected, loved and cared for beyond optics and performance.. a world where our safety is truly a priority.
Sending love to Meg again. I hope she has healers in her circle and people who can swarm her with love and care. My god!
*** I’m also PISSED that Meg felt she had to show the world her bullet winds because y’all raggedy asses don’t believe Black women!!!! WHEEEWWW I AM ON FIRE!!!
Black women deserve so much more than this wack ass world! SO. MUCH. MORE.

Twitter can be so exhausting at times ... Yes I’m aware that Meg was protecting everyone in the car. I’m highlighting the fact that her protecting everyone includes the person who did her harm, a Black man. And meg’s story is, unfortunately, the story of many Black women.
It reminds me of Oluwatoyin who was out here fighting for Black lives. Fighting for the lives of Black men, only to be raped and killed by one. I’m sick of it all. I hate this happened to meg and I hate that Oluwatoyin is no longer here. We’re fighting community & police violence
