Seems like this is a thing that needs discussing, so... It's essential to know that all of our reviews on CIPT are indicative of our own experiences and impressions. We rate things based on how they were for us, not how we think they'll be for others.

Being hard of hearing, I experience games differently than a deaf person. Grant's reviews are based on his experience. Same with Christy and Steve and Ben.

Use the info we provide to guide your decision of whether you'll be able to play a game but don't take our impressions as THE experience for all people with a particular disability. They're not intended to be and we've always tried to be clear about that.

Also, our reviews, like all reviews of everything, are our opinions, not a statement of fact (aside from noting options and such, that's obviously fact based on game menus).

We're VERY thorough in all of our reviews and provide you with as much info as we can but at the end of the day, we can't say how anyone else will experience it, just like reading a movie review won't guarantee you'll love or hate a movie.
