10 years passed since we signed Miloš Krasić, so I thought I do a thread to reflect on his two years in black and white.

Enjoy.
In 2010 we were still a mess from Calciopoli, and Andrea Agnelli took over the leadership placing in charge Marotta who made great work at Sampdoria that finished fourth the previous season. He brought with him Del Nerri and a new era started.
Budget was thin but we still managed to bring in that summer players like Quagliarela, Traore, Bonucci, Rinaudo, Aquilani, Martinez, Storari, (Gigi got injured on the World Cup). And Marotta wanted one more big investment in the attack.
He wanted Džeko (sound familiar?), but he went to City, so the other option was Krasić who had a brilliant season at CSKA Moscow. They played UCL 1/4 finals and Krasić scored 4 goals in that run, one against United.
His price was only 15m, City wanted him also, but he rejected a much higher salary to wear black&white. He missed his flight, so he paid 10k e for a private flight to be with the team on time. Us Balkan people have special emotion towards Serie A, maybe it’s that, I don’t know.
His partnership with Quagliarella was a good one. Thanx to that great understanding, Miloš was pouring in goals and assists. Even had a hattrick against Cagliari, but his pace & dribbling drove defenders mad. He became a fan favourite, and everyone dubbed him as the “new Nedved”
Then against Bologna he dived inside the box and the whole football world came down on him. “I fell instinctively, I didn’t mean to do it. I regret it.” he said then.
Reactions were fierce and because of that dive, he got 2 games suspended, and he even said in an interview that he was never the same Krasic after that. Lost his focus. By the end of 2010 he did did score a match winner against Lazio, and Juve were in the Scudetto race.
But 2011 started with a heavy Quagliarella injury already in the first game, so Krasić lost his pillar. On top of that, consequences of him finishing the russian league, then playing the WC, then directly joining Juve finally started to show.
He was exhausted, and Del Nerri was squeezing every last bit of energy out of him. That of course resulted in his form dropping dead, and we finished the season on seventh place. Agnelli reacted again, Conte was brought in.
Along with the coach, Juve brought in Pirlo, Vidal, Licht & Vučinić. There was a feeling that Krasić could find his place in Contes system. But as Conte asks a lot of the player in defence as well, Krasić just faded away. He got only a few chances, & got in arguments with Conte.
That winter he could’ve went to Totenhem who asked him on a loan, but Krasić rejected believing he’ll turn his luck at Juve around. Unfortunately, he didn’t, and finished the season with only seven games played and one goal scored.
After this he was sold to Fenerbahce for 7m, and later played for Bastia and Lechia where ended his career in 2018. Everyone always said that in other clubs there were only glimpses of the 2010 Krasić.
