1/ @TJHernandez I'm declaring Jon Gruden the worst play-caller in the league for fantasy purposes.
He's the only play-caller in my database that ranks 20th or lower in neutral passing rate, deep-ball rate, and situation-neutral pace.

2/ @PFF_Fantasy Carr is more than capable of attacking downfield, but whether it’s the system, lack of playmakers or simply a conservative nature, Carr finished w/ the 3rd-lowest avg depth of target in the NFL. Even when OAK fell behind early Carr rarely pushed the ball downfield
3/ @PFF_Fantasy Renfrow was the highest-graded WR on the team a year ago, at 75.5 overall, as the rookie caught 49 passes for 605 yards & became a valuable weapon in the slot. Williams produced along his career baseline w/ a 66.7 receiving grade while averaging 15.5 yds/reception
4/ @heathcummingssr Just 43% of OAK passes went to WRs in 2019 (3rd-lowest). In 2018, they didn't have a WR w/ even 90 targets & Nelson was the only WR w/ 64+ targets. Offseason focus on WR position could mean they have different plans but a TE has led them in targets past 2 yrs
5/ @YardsPerGretch The Raiders had to address pass-catching depth, and rookies Henry Ruggs, Lynn Bowden and Bryan Edwards plus free-agent additions Jason Witten and Nelson Agholor all threaten to cut into Waller's target share.
6/ @DBro_FFB Darren Waller finished 2nd to only George Kittle in YAC (570) last year.
Dude is athletic AF. I worry about his target share this year, but his talent is undeniable.

7/ @GrahamBarfield Raiders don’t have any RBs that can threaten Josh Jacobs’ carries & goal-line role. That isn’t in doubt. Just need Gruden to actually play Jacobs on passing downs now. Last year, he was 45th among RBs in routes run per game & had zero (0!) targets on third down
8/ @TJHernandez Since 2009, 106 RBs have seen 150+ carries and 30 or fewer targets in a season.
Of those 106, 49 saw at least 150 carries again the following season.
In that group of 49, none hit the 60-target mark.
6 saw over 50 targets (12%)
12 saw at least 40 targets (25%)

9/ @TJHernandez You're basically buying a 50-target ceiling
This isn’t necessarily a fade Jacobs tweet.
Four top-12 RBs (half-PPR) saw fewer than 50 targets last season.
This is more to set a realistic expectation while the Josh Jacobs passing down discussion is being had

10/ @heathcummingssr Jacobs was slightly above average as a pass catcher in 2019, averaging 6.2 yards per target, and he saw three or more targets in 5 of his final 9 games. He also had at least 15 carries in nine of his final 10 games, topping 20 on nine different occasions.
11/ @justinboone W/ continuity on their side, the Raiders are getting overlooked when discussing the best Olines. Jacobs finished 2nd in PFF's elusive rating while battling a shoulder injury part of last season. Wouldn't be shocking if he leads NFL in rushing behind this line (5)
