I said earlier, that I’d dig a bit into the man they call Foreman Mike on the build the wall project. Basically he looks like the typical I hate immigrants guy, can drive/work machinery and possibly helped with the wall.

I’m only alarmed at his references to immigrants and aliens and it’s sad to see @CawthornforNC shilling and stumping at this event.

His name is Mike Furey. And he seems to know all the right Border and ICE folks along with DHS and politicians. Evidently, this little portion of the border wall was a great PR event for many.

You have to have some land to build a wall on. Without the land, the wall means nothing.

It turns out that Fisher Industries (Fisher Sand and Gravel) purchased the land that the wall is being built on. So, Fisher needed to help this little grift by purchasing the land.
In return, Fisher gets awarded a contract for more walls.

The story deserves more discussion because they cheated again.
The purchased the property to bypass the regulations. And are building the fence/wall in the flood plain .

Because everyone wins. He gets money for the land and a wall, he helps Build The Wall grift more MAGAs and his a Republican supporter that owns John Deere dealerships.

And as this article says, it’s been hell for everyone who didn’t support the wall. Even if a court might have said, you can’t build it, they still did. Foreman Mike helped. He liked it.

So it brings us around to the Grift.
It starts with:
Figure out a way to push the message about immigration and how bad these people are.
Next find the right folks willing to support the grift and begin.
Get out to donors what you’re doing and ask for money.

Create the PR/messaging and blast it on Social Media via bots and the usual #Qublican jokers.
Get the money, ask for more. Make sure everything looks good.
Take pictures and have the right people to ensure the messaging looks solid (Mike Furey)

Find some land. Get the company creating the wall to buy it. In return, they receive a contract for more walls later.
Get the land from a Republican donor who supports MAGA
Begin the grift.
Continue the grift.
Finish it and head out to greener pastures.
