lower class ennui is not even paid attention to because the people in control of all cathedral apparatuses, the pharma-ind complex, the mental health industry, the psych-departments in uni, etc. these are run by upper class demographics who look at them like scum.
the construction worker who ends it is not the ideal poster child for the mental health industrial complex because social-gestalt ideas of psychology are selectively applied to certain demographics over others.
the blue collar young man isn't apt to seek therapy because these issues are much deeper and reveal harsher truths about the western world than an easily packaged series of bourgeois identity issues.
