It might feel automatic for some of us to think that everyone would bathe or shower everyday but homelessness, depression, physical disabilities and more are all barriers to hygiene being possible and/or a priority.
I harmfully chimed in on a post saying something to this effect earlier today and that’s my class and abled privilege showing up.

If someone doesn’t shower everyday it’s not on me or anyone else on this hell site to shame or judge them without considering the barriers.
Hot takes and banter on Twitter are absolutely not worth it if you’re trivializing the REAL LIFE experiences of other people that your privilege prevents you from considering.

Reflection is key. Learning and acting on that new information is KEY.
