If your politics land you in a place where you're rationalizing, erasing, and excusing egregious violence then you need to get you some new politics.
No matter where you go, you can find people doing the absolute most to excuse anything they can in the name of their favored politician, leader, or authority. There's a better way. We don't have to live like this.
Every day we see people going out of their way to validate authorities in the name of people in need. Justifying authority over people is conflated with fighting for the people an entity will have authority over in dangerous ways.
Who knows what tomorrow will bring. Just know we can all live a life where we don't feel obligated to justify inexcusable violence today.
Get into fighting for people, not fighting for who should have authority over people.
