Yesterday we launched version 2.0 of the @ussoccer app.

Our aim was - and will continue to be - to make the U.S. Soccer app the EASIEST way to follow the USMNT and USWNT.

That said, here are a few of my favorite features from the new release.

1/6
Highlights.

Fans love highlights. I love highlights.

Now you can relive the action for each USMNT & USWNT match natively within the app.

(For games which we have the rights).

2/6
Video content.

Twitter is great, but sometimes you miss a post or two. Instagram is great, but sometimes you miss a post or two.

We have now brought U.S. Soccer content into the app in one, easy-to-access place for anyone who is catching up at the end of the day!

3/6
Story content.

Similar to above, it’s now easier for our fans to access content they may have missed throughout the day.

For those who are push-enabled, we can send alerts driving directly to our stories surrounding big moments. Most recently, the WCQ Draw!

4/6
Cap tracking.

You can now easily track the number of matches you’ve attended, directly from your app!

(Only 2 “official” caps for me, guess we don’t count the ones I’ve worked 😜).

5/6
This was an important update for us at U.S. Soccer as we strive to make following U.S. Soccer as easy as possible!

It’s exciting to see it come to fruition after months of hard work by everyone involved.

Big h/t to every department who helped this come to life! 🇺🇸 ⚽️

And if you haven’t downloaded the app you can find it in the App Store or Google Play Store now!
