1/4 At the beginning of this crisis, I was taken aback by how outspoken @FatEmperor was on this topic. He always backed his opinion with science, not emotion. I sat back, observed and soaked it in. 2/4 swimming upstream and really in a no win situation. He was not focused on the optics but on reality. He stood his ground despite massive personal attacks. Most of us would have cowered & waited for people to forget about our strong stance. I hope & pray that someday I'll be
3/4 as much of a leader as Ivor is. Whether you agree with his stance or not, he has the courage to stand and fight. He doesn't need me to stand up for him because he is a warrior. I can tell you he does not take a stance for the attention but because it is the right thing to do.
4/4 He has put himself and his reputation at great risk. He is taking the hill while people shoot him in the back. History will tell us if he is right or wrong...but at the very least, he has the courage to stand up and fight. I will honored to share a scotch with him one day.
