The Christian doctrine of the Trinity is mysterious, but it is not illogical.
If the doctrine could be shown to entail a logical contradiction, it would for that reason be untrue—not because God is somehow answerable to a standard of logic external to himself but because God’s own nature is logical & because his revelation is rational, reliable& consistent
But in point of fact the doctrine is not illogical. To say that Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are identical in essence but distinct in person or relation may be incomprehensible but it is not illogical.
It may defy complete mastery on the part of the human intellect but it does not defy logic.
