So, here's what we know about the Ackerman: Nothing.
Ch 112 was supposed to be an explanation but since the literal source of that info (Zeke) debunked it, I don't think I should dwell on it anymore.
Here, I would talk about something which is too far fetched, so bear with me.

Norse mythology: One of the biggest inspiration for AoT.
The path tree is based on the world tree Yggdrasil and Ymir is based on the Ymir the giant, both from norse myths.

The creatures who live within Yggdrasil are the dragon Níðhöggr, an unnamed eagle and the 4 stags Dáinn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr and Duraþrór.
The 4 stags or harts eat among the branches of the World Tree Yggdrasill.
This is representative of the Eldians i.e branches of PATH's tree.

Now, comes the interesting part.
What is a Jötunn ?
>Jötunn is a race of entities contrasting that of their eternal rivals Norse Gods from Norse mythology and legend.
(Side note:Hræsvelgr is a jötunn in Norse mythology. He is portrayed as the eagle-shaped originator of the wind)

All Jötnar (plural) were originated from the progenitor of Jötnar race, the first Jötunn Ymir (Yes, you heard it right).
Now, bird definitely represents freedom. So, I'd say that is supposed to be the attack titan (I know it's too far fetched but what the hell).

Here is where it starts.
Níðhöggr: It is a powerful dragon that lives in the roots of the great ash tree Yggdrasil which holds the 9 realms of Norse cosmology together. Níðhöggr also chews on the roots of the tree for all eternity with hopes to damage it and topple it.

The best part : He has a rivalry with the eagle that lives at the top of the World Tree and the two exchange harsh words and messages through Ratatöskr. Also, Nidhogg is aligned with the Jotunn.
The dragon is also said to preside over a part of the underworld called Náströnd.

The Norse Underworld is known as Niflheim which is one of the 9 realms.
And AoT is about the Jötunheimr (homeland of jotunn) and Midgard (home of humans)
And-
The Ackermann family used to live in the literal 'underground' of Paradis in the AoT universe.
Coincidence ?

There are 3 things I want to point out.
1.The 'Ackerman' literally translates to 'ploughman' i.e 'farmers'.
2. The reference to 'Underworld'.
3. Nidhogg and the Eagle's rivalry. (Eren and Mikasa, I don't mean rivals by action but in terms of personality traits, they do contrast)

Now, how it connects to the AoT story:
In ch 122, Ymir gives birth to 3 daughters. They represent the 3 branches in the beginning. Which expands into multiple branches further down the line.
The king specifically used the term 'seed' which a lot of people claim is the apple.

Now, that is another good theory which connects the baby=apple.
But I disagree, the last I checked apple connects to Idun, who is supposed to be the goddess of eternal youth, not fertility.
(I am only talking about the Norse mythology btw)

I think the 'seed' is symbolic for the origin of the PATH's tree.
And every tree has a root.
I think the PATH's tree which even though resides in a different dimension also has one.
I think this will come as a revelation.

Also, the tree in which Ymir fell. There was supposed to be roots below but what she got is a 'spine-like-thingy', whatever the hell that was attached to her.
This spine-thing is still present somewhere.
My bet would be just like Ymir's soul is divided into 9 parts.

That spine-thing is also inherited down the generation in the form of a soul. And the bloodline which it ended up with are the Ackerman the same way how Ymir's consciousness ended up with the royal blood coordinate.
This 'spine' gave Ymir it's powers in exchange of her humanity.
This 'spine' gave Ymir it's powers in exchange of her humanity.
This can also tie down to the reason Eren was able to activate the coordinate a second time without touching a royal-blood titan.
It's more like this: Eren activated it on touching dina, but an order also has to be executed for it to work.
The 2nd time it was still activated+

but the one it was in contact with was Mikasa.
A bit of a wordplay here.
Who better at cultivating seeds than a farmer.
I think one of the Ackerman will be going inside the PATHS soon.
There they will find the normal titans sleeping in human form just like ymir.

How I know ?
Levi's "are you still there ?" as he looks at his comrades and Mikasa's headaches.
I also think the PATHs will explain how Eren found out where child Mikasa was being kept. My bet would be Adult Mikasa tells that to him herself.
Refer to pic 9

And now refer to pic 13 above, it's the moment when Eren talks about the 'nightmare of the normal titans' and Mikasa interrupts him. I think it's the same soup.
(Sorry for the misleading shipping tags, I only care about the Ackermann).
BTW can someone explain the pic23 ?
