But whatever, y'all enjoy your conspiracy theories and whatnot -- I'll be over here addressing something far more important:
IT'S TEXAS DAY. ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT.
IT'S TEXAS DAY. ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT, ALRIGHT.
After 5+ years of basically being a perfectly average Big 12 team, UT's been a smidge more than that of late. And if the Horns' O and D is ever good at the same time, look out!
There's a downright paralyzing number of amazing McConaghey GIFs on this website. https://twitter.com/EricHogue2012/status/1296519508056834060?s=20
I never really understood Herman's hire of Tim Beck as OC, but I also didn't understand dumping him after UT's first top-10 offense in 8 years. Gonna miss Devin Duvernay, the best RB in the Big 12 last year.
SP+ didn't trust Texas last year primarily bc the D was dealing with far more turnover than anyone was acknowledging. Then a bunch of DBs got hurt too. But this year's D is *loaded* with experience and would've rebounded with or without a DC change.
Also, I see a happy dog.

In an alternate universe, where we at least pretended to do what was necessary to have a full CFB season, Texas had a shot at a HUGE year (as long as Herman didn't do that "great as underdogs, mediocre as favorites" thing again). Still the fav to reach the B12 title game with OU
