Opening track is pretty nice! The song starting with "Lost powers, you're landing" is oddly familiar but I vibe with it!

Okay the part where Jon just shouted "'Cause you're LOOOOOOOOOOOOOSTTTTTTTTT" and the song exploded and became a huge banger was epic. This is incredible I can't believe they're doing something like this for the first time

Wow we were all joking about Big Climb being Big Game 2 but it turns out it's actually a Big Chungus tribute track! I guess Jon wasn't kidding about that huh

"Take me to the big chungus, I want to gooo backkkk
Please infect me with corona, I want it so bad" is a great chorus but I can see why this wasn't the first single now

It Was A Monstering! This seems to be a track where Jon is giving a monstering to his fanbase. He's really telling us off for all the bad memes we DM him rn

Wait are my ears working right or did he say "Cornstering" and not "Monstering"

Okay it's Planets time! I've already heard this before but- wait it's slightly different

Wait the chorus in this version is crazy there's so much going on

Hot DANG they made Planets into the best track ever why wasn't this released instead

Totally outsold the others tbh, even the verses are way more fleshed out here

The little "EEEEeeeEEEeeEEEEEeeEEE" Jon sneaks in during the chorus is pretty fire

Okay Arch Enemy ti- wait this isn't Arch Enemy this is just Come Alive Diana

I guess they must've gotten the trumpet tracks mixed up on this one. Still, this is a good addition to the album. I think adding CAD to any EE album automatically improves it tbh

Oh I guess this was made before the MA listening party so it was in a way EE's "Arch Enemy"... the way the tables have turned since then

I do like the little touch in the bridge where he says "They're singing they're singing the arch enemy song"

Okay wait the AE trumpets from the outro just came in and now we're having a doubly epic ending to the song, kinda insane

Next track starting off strong. Menacing synths slowly set the stage as Jon comes in and shouts "HOLD ME ON THIS LORD OF THE TRAAAAAPDOOOOOORR". That beat is sick as heck too

Wait this song is about internet conspiracy dudes right? I think Jon is playing the role of a rightwing keyboard warrior rn but still he's getting away with shouting a lot of slurs rn, why isn't this marked explicit

Now suddenly this is descending into a breakdown where Jon keeps sputtering "I am the lord of the trapdoor lord of the lord of the I am the lord of the trapdoor, I am the lord of the lord of the" over and over on loop. Kinda intense

WHOA it just broke down into a crazy rock solo to finish things off. Insane. Good track but I'm giving it a 0/10 because Jon said like 10 different slurs and I think he should probably get cancelled for this

Next track starting out pretty soothing. Loving the piano in this. Very beautiful so far

"Your love is like the Black Hyena" YOOOOOOOOOO BEST SONG EVER MADE LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Okay so the narrative is that there's a lioness who's coming to the shore to tear apart black hyenas with no thought. Definitely a cool theme, love that it's the first time they've done something like this

The "never tell me that we can't hyena further" is a cool refrain but I think the part where he suddenly shouts "AT LAAAAST, HELLOOOOO RE-ANIMATOOOORRR" kind of breaks the pace. At least we got the title drop I guess

Okay In Birdsong time! Hopefully this will remain unaltered unlike the other singles

Actually minor difference, I swear they're recording this outside? You can hear birds chirp a bit in the background. Nice touch tbh I'm a fan

Actually I take it back that might not have been the greatest idea because I think I just heard a bird poop on Jon and now he's yelling "BIRD, SHIT, SHIT IN REVERSE, I'M FILTHY IN YOUR CRAAAP"

I've never heard him sing that high though so at least that bird accomplished something!

Wait now he's swearing at the birds and he's shouting out more slurs again... he doesn't have an excuse for this one Jon Higgs might be the bigot in the batcave guys :/

Okay but we still have two more songs left. The Actor ought to be a good penultimate one

"So you think there's no acting in anything that we do" is a pretty powerful starting line ngl

Okay I just looked at the lyrics booklet turns out the song isn't actually a song but some rare footage of Jon's 3rd grade school play

No offense to Jon though but I think I recognise which kid he is and his acting skills here are pretty shit

Well that was weird, anyway time for Violent Sun! Been waiting to hear this one blind for a while :)

Okay pretty interesting that the album's ending with a bang here

"Hey Violent Sun I am a-hooottttttttt, I am a-veeeerrrrryyyyyy hot" is an absolute banger of a chorus, I can see why they decided to make this a single now. Best tune I have to say

Okay enjoying this, looks like the song's building up to a clima- wait why did Jon suddenly stop singing

Oh I think I hear paramedics coming onto the set now, I think they recorded this outside like IB to be accurate but the Violent Sunlight was too much for Jon's British Ass to handle so he collapsed

Well that was anticlimactic! But at least the album's done now :) Overall I really enjoyed it, one of their most avant-garde yet original projects yet. I'd give it a 10/10 but I'm pretty sure Jon hates minorities so I give him a -1000/10. Great stuff for sure!

Can't wait for tomorrow when I wake up to Re-Animator being taken off of Spotify due to promoting bigotry and EE gets cancelled and I cry in pain knowing I'm all alone now. Fun times guys, see you later!
