So “Cuties” was a French film that went to Sundance. Netflix gets ahold of it , re-titles it something questionable and slaps a hyper-sexual poster on it. I haven’t watched yet so I will reserve my feelings about the actual film...but the diff in the two posters says a lot.

They’ve changed the poster but opted for a crop of the poster they originally posted (not the French one).

1. I don’t think this a film for children. I think Netflix fucked up the marketing and made it look like “Dance Moms” instead of what I think it resembles more closely a “mid90’s” or “Dazed and Confused”. An interview with the director makes it seem like the hypersexualization

Is 100% intentional bc that’s what the whole assed film is about.
