Success leaves clues and how you do anything is how you do everything. @whoisjwright didn’t just arrive where he is because he played in the NFL and got a few breaks. In HS he was President of the Black Student Union, Class of 2000 president and captain of 2 state title teams.
SoCal kid who chose Northwestern, not just for 🏈 but because he knew what it would mean in the grand scope of life. I can’t think of a moment where he hasn’t been a tremendous leader. President of FCA, PreMed Major, may have founded our attempt at a HS fraternity “FLAWLESS” 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️
He’s a testament to the fact that every detail matters. When I was immature, I thought it was weird he cared about so many things as much as he did (academics, character, community service etc.) Seems like, if you could be as good at 🏈as he was, then that would be all you need.
But every step of the way J has used his football gift for something much greater than scoring TD’s. So if success leaves clues then @whoisjwright has been showing us for a long time what it takes to be the 1st Black President of an NFL franchise and I’m thankful to have seen it.
