The US military statement about the firefight says nothing about “keeping oil” because it knows such a mission would be illegal. Bottom Line: We have a commander-in-chief who has NO CLUE what’s going on with US troops under his command and in harm’s way. His own SECDEF consistently says they’re doing something different from what he says they’re doing. This is totally incoherent and dangerous.
