Interesting notes from the Oschner Prevalence test for the capital region @WAFB

By the end of July, Oschner estimates ~10% of residents in Baton Rouge had had the virus at some point.
By late July, 11.8% of the LatinX population had been infected, 11% of the Black population had been infected, and 4.2% of the white population had been infected.
Sixty(!) percent of infected people did not demonstrate symptoms, and roughly 10,000 asymptomatic people were walking around with the virus during the testing window from July 15 to August 1.
People with Anosmia (loss of taste and smell) have 8.5x higher odds of testing positive for COVID-19. This is the Coronavirus's signature symptom.
People without underlying health conditions are actually more likely to test positive for the virus. This, combined with the numbers for young people, probably indicate that the at-risk population is taking the virus more seriously than others.
Here’s a breakdown of how work/marital status impacts the likelihood a person tests positive.

Office work is safer than other types of work, but nothing beats staying home.
