I get what the video is trying to do but I just don't think this is the way to talk about refugees or how draw a line between foreign policy and migration. Its Western-centric. Its also reinforcing the narrative that refugees are a problem or a burden.
Sure there are instances where this video's argument is true - Afghanistan, Iraq, Iran and Yemen being obvious cases.
Just wish the Left would frame support for refugees in terms of solidarity and migrant justice - not this faux attempt at anti-imperialism.
