Viktor Orbán unveiled today the National Unity Memorial, prepared for the centenary of the #Trianon Treaty. It's a 100 meters long ramp, descending 4 meters underground, covered with names of 12.5 thousand towns of the Kingdon of Hungary in its pre-1920 borders.

These municipalities are today both in Hungary and beyond its borders (in Romania, Slovakia etc). All names are in Hungarian spelling, even if some of them had no Hungarian population at all (eg. towns in Northern Slovakia) - reminder of Magyarization policies of early 20th c.
At the end of the ramp there is a cracked granite block symbolizing today's Hungary and its current 7 neighbour countries, with an internal flame inside.
