The virus of critical race theory is spreading to all of the national laboratories.

In new documents from Argonne National Lab—which handles national security and supercomputing for the federal government—a whistleblower describes a relentless campaign of racial harassment.

🧵
Top executives and scientists at the federal lab claim the United States is an "institutionally racist society" and that white lab employees must atone for the "pain and anguish inflicted upon Black people" and "unequivocally assert that Black lives matter."
They demand that white employees embark on a journey of "becoming anti-racist." They believe that "striving to be comfortable" and "talk[ing] to others who look and think like me" are expressions of racism—that must be driven out of the workplace.
Lab executives tell white employees that they must admit they "benefit from Racism," "yield positions of power to those otherwise marginalized," and push for progressive activism in the workplace—all under the banner of "anti-racism."
The laboratory's leadership believe that the lab must move away from a system of "meritocracy" and towards a system of "nonuniform treatment" that leads to "equity of outcome." They have abandoned competence as the key measure—and replaced it with critical race theory.
One senior employee told me the relentless bombardments of critical race theory content amount to "harassment towards employees who are white" and create an atmosphere of intimidation against anyone who does not share the executives' progressive political convictions.
Through my investigations, I've demonstrated that critical race theory is now the operating ideology at multiple federal research labs—which operate under the authority of the Department of Energy and receive billions of dollars annually from American taxpayers.
Today, I call on the Department of Energy to recommend a full Inspector General investigation of "critical race theory" in the national laboratories. We need to root out this toxic, hateful, Anti-American ideology from the federal government—before it's too late.
