First let's look at the basic computer.

This complete control of the centralized Bank allows the owners of the bank to regulate transactions, control transactions creating fees, controlling the money supply etc.
This allows corruption at a very high level. It's important to note that this system is not backed by gold

and uses worthless pieces of paper.
The are simply I owe yous with debt attached.
