If you’ve met a musician/comedian/artist/whatever and in that moment it seemed they didn’t want to be bothered by you, it’s okay to assume they were having an off day and not assume that they’re an asshole who hates their supporters
Some, despite how they present themselves in their work or online, are introverts at heart, and being stopped in your tracks to cater to conversation can be exhausting when you have to perform that act on a daily basis
You are owed nothing aside from the experience you paid for. Those who do have the ability/willpower to entertain any conversation have my utmost respect, but I will never lose respect for someone who obviously just doesn’t have the time or want to talk to me/others
I’ve seen myself and others get called dumb names because ‘they were nice the first time I saw them, but the second time it seemed like they wanted nothing to do with me’

You might be right. Hell, they probably didn’t want anything to do with themselves either besides go to bed
When it comes to those touring in club circuits, it’s important to realize most of those working on a tour don’t have a single moment to themselves for weeks at a time. Van? 5-7 people. Green room? Packed. Hotel? Better snuggle up; we don’t have the budget for two rooms
Alright, that’s all I got.
