1. Earned income: This is what you earn from your job. This includes self employed people as well.
Secret: It's also the most taxed.

2. Profit Income: When you sell something at a higher price than you bought it for or create it for.
Typically the entry point for the entrepreneurs.
Secret: You may avoid taxed legally in this case.

3. Interest income: When you lend money and get paid for it monthly or yearly.

4. Dividend income: When you get paid for a stocks you own in a company.

5. Rental income: When one rents out a real estate one owns.
You may also earn this income by renting your car or equipments required in various industries.

6. Royalty income: When one gets paid for something they created sometime back. Examples: making movies or music or a writing a book or for that YouTube channel that one has.

7. Capital gains: When one sells an asset that has appreciated in value over time. Prime examples are: Selling a real estate or the stocks you own.
