GP Hillary's plastic surgeon did a better job than most. She still looks human unlike some of Hollywood's finest. But I don't think she looks anything like she used to look.

Bleached, nipped, tucked, botoxed, etc.

GP What's wrong with looking good for your age? I get wanting some minor work done as we age, eyelid lifts, e.g., but the wholesale reconstruction some older women undergo is insane to me.

Because as much work as you get done on your face, your neck betrays your age. Plastic surgery hasn't yet figured out how to de-age that effectively.

GP I think women look great as they age. You *should* have a few years on you. You're 50, 60, 70, 80. You're not supposed to look 25.

Hopefully by this point you've figured out it's what's inside that matters more than your outsides and you've found someone to love who agrees.

GP And the chorus of "aging women are judged by different standards than againg men" can STFU.

Sure, men like looking and sweet young things. But most of us don't date/marry them. Too much trouble.

It's *other women* who put this onus on women, not men primarily.

GP Just be who you frikkin' are. If you want a tune up, get one. But don't get your face carved up to please other people.

Most of us like you as is. Roll with it. You'll likely be happier in the end.
