Sri Swaminarayan Mandir, is located in Canada. The temple belongs to the spiritual organization Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS), established in the late 18th century and became popular in the early 20th century. 1/9
The temple was built of snow-white carved marble using all the basic principles that were typical for the construction of temples by the ancient Indians. The main materials were Indian granite and sandstone, as well as limestone from Turkey and marble from Italy. 2/9
The main structure of the temple is made of stone, but there is another structure, for the decoration of which teak wood was used. Wood processing was carried out in the “haveli” style, which means “royal”. This style has been popular in India for several hundred years. 3/9
Numerous images of figures of people - poets, dancers, musicians, as well as floral ornaments were used to decorate the temple. In general, the temple makes a really lasting impression. 4/9
The most notable place of the temple is the meditation hall located at the top of it. The room is decorated with many columns, the number of which seems even greater due to the fact that the columns are reflected in the marble floor, polished like a mirror. 5/9
The floor and ceiling of the hall are decorated with marble lace, the pattern of which looks three-dimensional. 6/9
7/9 On special pedestals there are skillfully illuminated figures of Indian deities. The temple is the embodiment of joy, kindness and love.

The many domes that adorn the building, which from the moment of its construction have been recognized as one of the main attractions of Toronto, attract attention. The name of the temple "Mandir" can be translated as "a place for meditation of the soul." 9/9
These are very small efforts, perhaps the grandeur of the temple will have to be seen with one's own eyes. @sadhavi @LostTemple7
