THREAD: A dialectic.

Here's the Dems' sales pitch:
1) Vote for us because Trump sucks.
2) Trump sucks because we say he sucks.

So how does Trump suck? COVID killed people and economy. Okay, so HOW is that Trump's fault and what did he do wrong? 1/

2/ Dems: Trump downplayed seriousness of COVID.
Okay, and how did that kill people and the economy, because what he DID took it with COVID serious. Most significant is stopping travel from China WHICH BIDEN WOULD NOT HAVE DONE. And the policy that did kill people was Dems

3/ putting elderly in nursing homes. And the economy, what did Trump do to "kill the economy?"
Dems: ? (seriously have no idea what they would say other than COVID).
So COVID & current economy are not Trump's fault and nothing Biden would have or could have done would change.

4/ But what Trump did do that we know Biden wouldn't because he didn't for 8 years: Boom the economy, bring back manufacturing jobs, start peace in the middle east, lower taxes. Those are things Biden claims he can do that Trump can't--facts don't bear it out.

5/5 So while the convention is good for soundbites, moving forward Dems need specifics and not just Obama and Hillary saying Trump sucks while Biden hides in his basement sucking on Jill's finger.
