And then you have the GC non-threat, that if something happens on Varosha Turkey won’t join the EU. Everyone knows it will never join the EU. And everyone knows how hard it is to get the EU behind a policy on Turkey. It is a non-response. 4/
If Varosha goes you can kiss good bye to any hope of solving the #Cyprob in ANY shape or form. It would create SOOO much resentment. What does that mean: endless endless endless trouble for the EU, UN, NATO, US over spats between the Republic and Cyprus and Turkey. 5/
