My develeopment as a player is an example, sometimes we were told we play to much friendlies at the School of Excellence. Often we want to be competitive too soon and when its time to be competitve we lack the basics.

I see coaches shout and scream at u8s and i gringe at it!!!! At age 10 the player has no desire to play football anymore, its no longer fun for him/her

I absolutely love coaching at u10 to teach them how important it is to stop and pass a ball, the joy when they score a goal, the excitement and the fun and most importantly making sure they ready to play u12...

We lack so much infrastructure and focus on development. We need to invest more in development to get a better return on investment... The more you invest the greater the outcome... Im passionate about playing my role in developing football in South Africa!!!
