Moscow protest leader & anti corruption campaigner Alexei Navalny has been hospitalised with after becoming unwell on a flight from Siberia to the capital. Kira Yarmysh adds that in the middle of the journey, “he began sweating, went to the toilet & fell unconscious.” Navalny’s commercial flight made an emergency landing and he was rushed to hospital. She believes he was “poisoned with something mixed into his tea.”

Photo doing the rounds on @telegram, taken by a fellow passenger, is said to show Navalny drinking that tea at Tomsk airport, before his flight. His spokeswoman says it was the only thing he drank this morning.

Anatoly Kalinichenko, deputy chief physician of the hospital warned "there is no certainty that the cause of Navalny's condition is poisoning." Yarmash says staff haven't given a diagnosis or indicated if there is a threat to his life. Adds there are numerous police present.
