Way too many people in this country act like if you speak with a twang, you own a truck, and you watch sports that makes you working class, even if you in fact own a massive ranch.

And if you speak with an accent marking you as a resident of a coastal city, drink lattes, and dress nice you're an elite even if you work a minimum wage job 8 hours a day.

And that's being generous. When we really get down to it, to a lot of people "working class" just means white and "elite" means "Jewish" or "nonwhite." Even when that makes no fucking sense.
