this thread is dedicated to talking about my favorite fish boy, kanata
because i think he thinks i dont like him as much nowadays and thats why he hasn't appeared in my gacha attemps and as a result me having to spark for him

lets start with this
the 1-star cards that were also on the homepage
i remember going through the characters and he didn't really grab my attention...at first

then they announced THIS card

i dont remember seeing the unbloomed version of the card until I got him
fun fact i made a bet with someone saying "if i got him, I'll stop taunting you with nico nico nii for a whole week"
11 scouts later and i was blessed with this

NOT TOO LONG AFTER they announced this card (apparently this was late november/early december) and he was event points
unfortunately i had (still have) bad spending habits when it comes to diamonds in this game so I could get him until years later when they introduced revivals

just look wtf why does he get two cute 5-stars in a row its unfai r
either way im glad its in my collection atm

honestly
any cards between release and the jellyfish one is a complete mystery to me simply because I wasn't a fan of him at the time
but now i can appreciate him in all his glory

this one throws me for a loop because I honestly don't remember this event? I would've remembered this card

however from what i recall both him and souma aren't too different in height so for whatever reason souma's card looks slightly baggy
cute but also dont give him a fucking sword (keep this in mind)

also as an addition
in the jellyfish card, we sorta found out how he wasn't really someone that can do too many things at once
aquarium showcases some of his family issues
they really trickle stuff in for him

i never simped for the album cards because i was Afraid for future 5 star cards

he sad :(
probably because i never owned this card cause it was a ranking card
maybe in the future when i save up enough diamonds ill do this event's revival

There's a lot of subtle sadness in the story because of his earlier life

THE FACT THAT HE STILL SORTA TALKS ABOUT THE GOD STUFF STILL FUCKS ME UP
REMEMBER HE'S A GOD
BUT NOT IN THE MYTHICAL SENSE BUT IN A CULT SENSE AND THAT JUST HURTS

i did not get this card i had Bad Luck or I Didnt Attempt

unit collection events were a thing
they weren't...terrible
but they were just as fucking grindy as normal events rip
but im glad i got this card to 5 stars
