Some thoughts on Denver organizing:

We don't need all the different organizations, crews, or affinity groups to come together into one big group. In fact, that's counterproductive. A big group has more security issues and is more prone to fighting.
We also don't need a group that does absolutely everything, such as electoralism, mutual aid, and direct action. These things require different levels of security, and so should be done by different groups.
Trying to have one group do everything compromises security
And having one group take on so many different areas of organizing also means they're overworked and can't devote enough time and energy to each project to make it successful.

So stop trying to do the big tent thing. And stop trying to work with people you disagree with...
...Or people who don't share your goals. Some people focus on liberation. Some people focus on abolishing police. Some people focus on helping unhoused communities.
It's okay if you don't all have the same goals.
Don't force it, you're just creating conflict.
This doesn't mean that you should just ignore other groups. We're stronger together, and a lot of our goals overlap to some extent.

So what we need is for the different groups to still support each other. If one group plans an action, others show up in support.
We don't have to totally agree with each other, but we have to be there for each other. That's what solidarity means.

Right now the biggest obstacle to this is trust. We often lack information about who's planning something, and what the goal is.
This goes back to an earlier thread I had about transparency instead of secrecy, I'll link it at the end.
But I think if we can get that transparency and build some trust, we'll be able to solve many of the issues we've had recently.
