1. Last night en route to Hayatabad at 2130 hours for a meeting with my constituency team, at the Tehkal stop, I thought it'd be useful to test out the BRT service spur of the moment.
Glad that I did because it enabled me to see what's working and give feedback. Here goes...

2. Overall, proud to have witnessed a vibrant, state of the art service that is delivering like no other in Pakistan.
Great, helpful staff at the stations; WiFi working; topped up my Zu card with Rs. 500 in a few seconds; had to miss one bus which was full (shows utilisation)...

3. Climbed aboard a second bus also nearly full; proud to see discipline amongst passengers. Just getting feedback from those aboard, most of those using the service were using it as a utility and not just out of curiosity; which means the service is working. Let's all own this!

4. Also happy to see the women's section at the front both occupied and their privacy being respected.
The biggest piece of feedback was the need for more buses; insha'Allah we will be doubling the number of buses we have as soon as we can.

5. Staff was courteous, only allowing people through station gates with masks; unfortunately mask wearing within buses still low; something to collectively work on. Hygiene was good, but keep stations and buses as clean as they ought to be will be our biggest challenge.

6. Feedback passed on to the TransPeshawar team; I'm sure they will take action.
Again, worth recognising the personal interest of the CM @IMMahmoodKhan (his office has personally oversee completion & Secretary Shahab Ali Shah has burnt the midnight oil), PDA and TransPeshawar...

7. Everyone had to absorb a lot of criticism as a complex project was completed; sticking to the course has made it possible.
Now, let us all own this as an asset for Peshawar and make it run as well as possible.
