The main thing that watching the DNC does is remind you that the Republican Party has built a cult of personality around someone incapable of not only governing, but of bringing basic dignity to the office or the republic.
I’ve said it often, I totally get Trump voters who prefer his policy positions on abortion or taxes or whatever else legislator-in-chief entails.
But it makes no sense to support or defend him on grounds of governing, crisis leadership, foreign policy, character, or corruption.
