So you want to compete in a bodybuilding show?

Please ask yourself first:
-Why?
-What does competing mean to me?
-What are my plans after a show?
-Am I prepared to be hungry, tired, & sacrifice lots of time?
-Am I at risk for disordered eating or have a poor body image?
-Do I truly love the training aspect?
-Have I spent enough time building to have the muscle base before a show?
-Am I prepared to miss out on social events?
-Will it harm my mental health?
-Can I afford up to $1000 + to do it?
-Are my hormones optimized & health?
Competing can be an incredible adventure for many- but it’s not for everyone. It can wreak havoc on people’s health. Make sure you’re ready & doing it for you & you only. If you aren’t prepared to lose and be okay with it- you’re not ready either IMO.
