Can’t describe the full range of emotions I’m feeling after hearing a 3rd Gr T tell me that she can ALREADY (in wk 3) tell a difference in this year’s group of kiddos being ready for the rigor of @WitWisdomELA because they had it last year. She said it’s like / @co_sumner

Last yr’s Ss had not had @WitWisdomELA the yr prior & 3rd Gr Ts had to start from scratch, esp with explaining the parts of paragraph. She said this yr’s Ss are well-versed in the topic statement & other parts. Said it made ALL the difference in their 1st few lessons! @co_sumner

I was 1st ecstatic to hear that my Ss are doing so well! Then I was amazed that even though it was my 1st yr with it AND our yr got cut short, we still have amazing results! And then, so grateful that I hung in there & kept working hard & pushing through what was uncomfortable.
