If it’s “not fair” that someone tries to harm themselves because they can’t come to terms with what they’ve done, it’s definitely not fair that I suffered the precipitating circumstances

My fury and indignance kept me speaking. For others, it was seeing they weren't alone. Some still spoke up because doing the right thing overcame their fear.
